Senior Mechanical Designer
The ideal candidate:
- is a graduate in mechanical engineering (graduation from the Politecnico di Milano/ Torino is preferred);
- is between the age of 35 and 45;
- has gained his/her experience through the design of components by means of consolidated work in the field, preferably in companies that design and manufacture pumps, industrial valves or companies in the “Oil & Gas” sector;
- knows and uses 3D design applications, in particular Solid Works and Inventor;
- knows and applies the specific product regulations;
- actively participates in related development engineering by proposing and implementing design solutions that are most suitable to meeting customers’ needs;
- follows the technical development of the sector, interfacing with suppliers, customers and other company departments;
- participates in the formulation of offers, taking care of the technical part;
- produces, updates and manages the technical documentation;
- guarantees the correct implementation of the product technological updating and product development activities;
- is dynamic, proactive, strongly oriented towards teamwork and results;
- is able to coordinate a technical team of two designers (a junior and a senior) and report directly to the CEO;
- is knowledgeable in the English language, which is essential (90% of the Company’s turnover is exported);
- must be available to carry out some trips abroad, when necessary, even to non-European countries.
